I know that wine is good for many things but I would not dare saying it protects against radiation. But some people did! See pic above of the Reuters 2008 report "Wine ingredient protects against radiation"

For sure this discovery -- by US researchers (?) -- deserves a Nobel prize. Now I think about it: Gevrey Chambertin is especially recommended for radiation... No affiliation with Gevrey producers of course.
