Tasting: Gevrey Chambertin 1er cru Lavaux Saint Jacques 2004 by Pierre Naigeon.

It is good to drink Lavaux. We tasted that bottle over 2 days. Vintage 2004 by Pierre Naigeon is now open and does not need time to breathe. Colour is a nice dark red brow that shows its evolution. It is quite impressive: great fragance, very big and long in mouth, strong, elegant and overall very well balanced. We left half of the bottle and tasted it again one day after opening. May be the wine was even better then from the fragance point of view. But this is rather subjective. That bottle is good now and obviously can be kept for years. Life is short!

Rie is very professional and never hesitates for extra work. Here she is tasting Pierre Naigeon's Gevrey 1er cru Lavaux Saint Jacques 2004. Very hard job indeed.

Friday 8th of October: the invaders

The evening was rather quite on this Friday eve at VFM's shop when suddenly THEY arrived... They call themselves YMCA. This group of youngsters invaded our office and asked for wine. We had to serve them and were quite afraid: they lighted BBQ in the office to burn some meat. But eventually they behaved rather correctly and it was not necessary to call the police.

du pareil au même

フランスのマミー（おばあちゃん）は、いつもかわいい服を買ってくれるのですが、中でも特に可愛いいのが、このdu pareil au même（DPAM)。「同じ」、という意味のフランスこの子供服メーカー、名前に反してとってもオリジナルなのです。デザインが、クラシックながらも、キッチュでかわいいのですが、何より特徴的なのが生地。プリントがド派手で色とりどりでオリジナルな模様なのです。この黒いワンピースも、鳥というか古代エジプト模様というか、なんとも独特なのですが可愛いい。セシルもお気に入りで、よく着たのですが、もう多分この夏で終りでしょう。来年はもう入らないですね。
そういうことで、記念の一枚をパチリ。
引越しの度に、持っていられなくて着られなくなった思い出の可愛い服を、お下がりを貰ってくれる方に差し上げたり、チャリティーショップに持っていったりして、ちょっと惜しい気持ちになっていたものですが、こうやって写真をとっておけば、思い出の中にとっておけていいですね。
