Uliz: Bourgogne rouge 09 & Macon Solutré 10

Friends were visiting us yesterday and we had the opportunity to taste the following two newly arrived wines: Bourgogne Pinot Noir 09 by Antoine Petitprez and Macon Solutré 10 ULIZ.

One friend tasting the Bourgogne rouge said: "Cherry-caramel, I have never tasted something like this before." I understand this point of view. Wine is quite opulent yet it remains fresh and complex. This is vintage 09: quite generous but the point was to avoid heavyness. Yet this wine is very drinkable and not heavy at all. The bottle did not last long. I was quite pleased and impressed. I found that it tasted even better than the previous times when I tasted it.

Macon Soluté 10 was rather fine too. Similar to the 09 version. Those who tasted vintage 09 knows...

昨日友人たちが遊びにきた折に、4月末に届いたばかりのワインのうち、アントワン・プティプレのブルゴーニュ・ピノ・ノワール2009とマコン・ソリュトレ2010Ulizを試飲しました。

うち（ワインは全くの初心者の）一人はブルゴーニュ・ピノ・ノワールを「サクランボ、キャラメル！こんなの今まで飲んだことない！」と。私も同意。味わいは口一杯に広がりますが、フレッシュさと複雑さも同時に持ち合わせています。これが09のヴィンテージの味わいです：とても上質ですが、ポイントは重たるくならないようにすることです。このワインは大変飲み頃で重たるさは全くありません。その夜、このワインはあっという間に空き、私もとても嬉しく、そしてワインにも大変感心させされました。前回飲んだときよりもずっと良かったです。

マコン・ソリュトレ2010も良かったです。こちらは09とよく似ています。こちらのお味は09を飲んで頂いた方はよくご存知でしょう。
