Dear all, we propose the following program. We will compare parcels of Gevrey-Chambertin. This is the only way to note the very different characters of those.

There are two mains areas of major interest in Gevrey. One south of the village on the slopes: le côteau des grands crus where the famous Chambertin is located. The other one is North-West of the village which is the so-called Combe de Lavaux. Historicaly no grands crus were given to the later area, which is a well-known mistake since its best parcels and in particular Le Clos Saint Jacques sell more expensive than mere Mazoyères-Chambertin. 皆さん、今回は、ジュヴレ・シャンベルタンの区画を比較試飲したいと思います。これが、大変異なるジュヴレの区画の特徴を知る唯一の方法です。

ジュヴレには2つの主に興味深い地域があります。1つ目は、村の集落の南に位置する斜面で、グラン･クリュの斜面と呼ばれています。ここには良く知られたシャンベルタンの区画があります。もう一つは集落の北西に位置する、ラヴォーの谷と呼ばれる地域です。歴史的に、この2つ目の地域にはグラン・クリュがありませんが、これは間違いと良く知られています。実際、ラヴォーの谷の最上級の区画、特にクロ・サン・ジャックなどは、普通マゾワイエール・シャンベルタン（グラン・クリュ）よりも高価に取引されていることなどが挙げられます。下に添付したジュヴレ・シャンベルタンの地図を参照ください。
